Best Techniques to Improve Grades, Without Feeling Stressed

Getting A grade in a test or exam is a struggle and requires a lot of hard work. That’s what all of us think, right? Sacrificing fun time, playing and constantly day and night eyeballing books frankly speaking this way, don’t know about the grades but you are certainly inviting stress. Exam time is stressful, we agree. However the more time you spend in stress, the more it is going to affect your grades. Being stressed all the time can affect your academic results, negatively.

So, if you want to get the best grades, the first thing you need is to do away with the stress. Here are some guidelines which you can follow to make study time more fruitful and stressful

Make your study place more welcoming

Let’s start with the place you study. You need to be seated at a place that is comfortable enough to concentrate but not too comfortable that you end up taking a nap. Yes, we all go through that phase where we turn into sleeping beauties as soon as we open the books.

Make sure the study area is fresh, naturally lighted and a bit spacious. Dull room is a big No. The place should be well lit. No big mess and distractions like televisions should not at all be in your vicinity. The environment should be peaceful.

Focus on accuracy

The more you try to rush and study fast, the more you tend to make mistakes or even forget what you studied during the big exam day. The best practice is to focus on accuracy rather than speed. The more and more you try acquiring accuracy, the more you can start learning faster.

It is better to start studying for exams a bit earlier rather than a week before or night before exams. Be slow and steady and success is guaranteed.

Never forget to do things that you love

It’s an exam, not a battle. It’s no harm, dedicating some time to things what you love, we are not asking you to play some hardcore outdoor games and hurting yourself, of course, that could be risky. You can spend some time playing video games, listening to music, spending some time in the open air or doing some artwork but make sure you don’t get so engrossed that you forget to study. You can set a time table or an alarm of how much time a day and at what time, you can take breaks. This can help you to de-stress and increase your concentration. This way you can surely enjoy studying.

Listen to your brain

Well while studying, it is better to listen to your brain than your heart. Your brain will always ask you to control things that can later lead to stress. Overeating, playing outdoor games, binge-watching all can hamper your grades, so it is better to avoid them.

Many schools these days provide such a stress-free learning environment that helps the students right from the beginning to work towards improvement in their grades. Jay Pritzker Academy (JPA) Cambodia has transformed the idea of studying. They motivate their students and help them to maximize their ability to improve grades and in the long run, also build a better future.
